Real-time communication tools for emergency rescue professionals ...
Giving citizens the opportunity to communicate their position via SMS or other channels: the AML service is revolutionizing localization services in the PSAP. Beta 80 is at the forefront of integrating this technology into first and second level PSAP, in accordance to the European reference protocols.
eCall refers to automatic or manual calls generated by a sensor inside the vehicle. The call is made to the 112 PSAP, establishing a channel between the occupants of the car and the call takers. The call includes vehicle data: position, direction, and time, providing the 112 call takers with detailed information to reach the accident location. This was possible because of the European standardization of vehicles and technology. Beta 80 has been at the forefront for years in the implementation of a complete eCall solution for PSAPs, taking part in the first Italian project and with installations in various countries.
Beta 80 worked on the heart of the ESInet (Emergency Services IP Network) platform and is the first company in Europe to fully develop its key elements. Each component (ESRP, ECRF, LIS) has been tested and certified during plugtests at the ETSI headquarters and is ready to guide agencies in the transition to a more complete and information-rich emergency system. Beta 80, with the Response Centers of Trentino, Alto Adige, Tyrol, and Denmark, is an active part of the CELESTE (Cross-border Esinet and LoST Emergency Services Testing) project, showing how the new technology can improve caller localization results, adding multimedia content, such as videos and chats.
