What is Real-Time Text (RTT)?
One of the key innovations introduced by Total Conversation is Real-Time Text (RTT), which allows text messages to be sent in real-time, character by character, as they are typed. This feature allows PSAP operators to read the message as it is typed, providing a more immediate and seamless communication experience.
Key benefits

Real-time multilingual communication
Integration of voice and text
Maximum accessibility
Flexibility with characters and symbols
Integrating RTT into the CAD Interface
To facilitate the integration of Real-Time Text into Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), Beta 80 has developed an RTT gateway with a dedicated client. This tool is designed to effectively manage the RTT text flow, separating text communications from voice calls and providing a specific application for message exchange.
The solution integrates seamlessly with PABX and CAD platforms, while also supporting third-party products. Thanks to this solution, operators can easily manage incoming RTT sessions directly from the CAD interface.
