Here is what we do in the three areas: Planet, People, ...
When Sustainability Is a Core Value, Reporting It Means telling the Story of the Company
This is exactly what we are doing with the first sustainability report in Beta 80’s history: sharing with our stakeholders the ESG dimensions that are part of our everyday operations. Each of us, according to our role and responsibilities.
In our experience, sustainability is not an add-on to how we do business—it is embedded in our daily actions. It has been part of our culture from the very beginning, even before the term “sustainability” became widespread, and it continues to generate long-term value.
The environmental aspect—given the nature of our business—has historically received limited attention. However, since 2022, we have embarked on a virtuous path, starting from our daily work (and even individual habits), to build responsible practices that led us to achieve ISO 50001 certification.
The social dimension unfolds both inside and outside the company. Beta 80 increasingly aims to be an open ecosystem that enriches the local community with its work culture—and is enriched by it in return. Internally, this is expressed through the promotion of personal growth (we believe in the educational value of enterprise), work-life balance, well-being, and inclusion—recognizing the value of every individual, without discrimination.
Externally, we support projects that help develop professional skills relevant to our sector or guide young people entering the workforce. We also contribute to initiatives that promote the integration of disadvantaged individuals into the job market or improve spaces dedicated to youth education.
The current global context of uncertainty has also led us to extend our support to populations affected by war and natural disasters.
