Integration with shipping systems
Carrier Manager responds to the needs of outgoing batches, packages, and boxes, that is the critical transition between warehouse and carrier. The module automatically provides labels in the final format with pre-assigned designation of the hub. Besides, it allows insertion of shipment tracking into the manufacturer’s systems. The module acts as a hub between a generic HOST system and the systems of different carriers, whether they are already implemented or will be in the future.
Based on the incoming information, Carrier Manager is capable of generating data to be sent to specific carrier systems, according to the interfacing specifications defined by each of them. The module itself handles the transcoding of values to match the various shipping systems. It also generates the necessary shipping documents, such as the waybill, and ensures the monitoring of different shipment status.
